Stefan Lindgren

Stefan Lindgren is professor emeritus at Lund University and previously Senior Consultant in Gastroenterology at Skane university hospital. His main research and clinical interests are related to chronic inflammatory bowel and liver diseases and iron deficiency. He has been President of the Swedish Society of Medicine, The European Federation of Internal Medicine and the Swedish Society of Gastroenterology. Stefan Lindgren also has an interest in academic teaching and learning and has been President of the World Federation of Medical Education
