Lasse Tuchtfeldt will present insights into the decision-making process behind the noise mitigation set-up implemented during foundation installation at the He Dreiht OWF in the German EEZ.
Key considerations included foundation dimensions, hydrohammer and impulse prolongation technology, as well as both near-field and far-field noise mitigation measures.
In collaboration with Heerema Marine Contractors, EnBW AG successfully installed 64 foundations within just over three months—without exceeding Germany’s stringent underwater noise limits.
